We at Staylor Design Associates specialise in creating innovative, energy efficient, timber frame buildings for customers aiming for passive house standards. Our kit’s are created from a framing system developed by ourselves to give maximum thermal efficiency at minimum cost. We supply fully erected structure’s to customers individual bespoke designs.
The Staylor Panels are made of an outer sheathing of 9mm OSB 3 (Oriented Strand Board) boards with a zero Ozone Depletion Potential (zero ODP) rigid urethane insulation core between I beam studs. This is a design which leads to premium structural properties & minimum cold bridging through the panels.
Each home we create comes with full structural calculations & SAP calculations for building control approval. A Code for Sustainable Homes assessment can also be provided if required. All assessments are carried out by our own in house accredited assessors to give the reassurance that the building will operate to the energy efficiency expected. As well as SAP calculations & Code for Sustainable homes assessments we can also offer air tightness testing for completed new homes, depending on location.
