Staylor Design provide's a consultancy services to the building sector, specialising in building energy performance & energy efficient timber frame construction. We provide a design service for timber frame manufacturers as well SAP calculations, airtightness testing & Code for sustainable homes assessments for new build homes. We can also provide a Passive house design service for people looking to create sustainable homes.

By the end of the year the government is updating the building regulations, bringing in new legally binding levels of energy efficiency for new homes. The energy efficiency of new domestic buildings is measured through SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) ratings. SAP ratings take into account the whole building design & it's use of energy, with the ultimate goal of zero carbon being aimed for in 2016.
